Last year we had the privilege of working with Amplify to provide sustainability consultancy on an exciting roadshow – the nationwide launch of Sky’s new television, Sky Glass.
Sky Glass is the world’s first TV to be certified Carbon Neutral so it was important that the roadshow reflected the product’s sustainability credentials from design through to derig and across the supply chain. We worked closely with the Amplify team to address environmental considerations at each stage of the planning process, put a strategic framework in place with measurable goals and KPI’s and ensured that responsible decisions were taken when it came to procuring goods and services.
The three units were designed and built with zero waste at the forefront, we worked with suppliers who could transport the units with as minimal carbon emissions as possible and monitored and measured every possible impact to be able to analyse and identify areas for improvement for the next phase of the roadshow.
Sky Glass is a trailblazing product, and The Bulb are proud to have been part of the nationwide public launch.
